As the new school year gets into full swing and the last of vacations come to a halt (yes, some are still vacationing in September)…
…people begin to take a fresh look at their lives.
How are my finances?
How is my marriage?
How is my career path?
For many of us, these three have been set into motion many years before and simply need mending and cultivation rather than revolution.
BUT THE SPIRITUAL LIFE…
…our walk with God and His Church…
…is something of a very different sort.
Simply because no matter the errors or omissions;
no matter the neglect or even ill will on our part (that may have gone on for decades);
God can and does tell us to begin again.
That’s right; start from the beginning.
Open your Bible as if it were the first time.
Encounter a saint like you have never heard that such lives were possible.
Humble yourself (if that has not been your tendency in the past).
At the end of all of it God is waiting for you; not to condemn but to set you again on the right path.
September is almost over.
Let’s go back to the beginning.
